It costs 15 times as much to get a new customer

This week I spoke a fellow marketing expert about this very topic. He specializes in restaurant marketing and told me that most of his clients love repeat business. So much so, they actively invest in getting customers to come back to their establishments. There was one restaurant owner, however who does the opposite. They only focus on getting new customers. Their food is mediocre and they think that if new people keep coming to the restaurant their will sustain their business. Not a good long-term plan.

Make your customers a priority. Invest money in telling that how great they are and continually educate them on the products/services you have to offer. They will likely spend more money with you, more often.
